A Message from the Principal

A Message from the Principal

As one of 20 Sustainable Community Schools, we are proud to serve as a hub for holistic education and community engagement. At Yates, we are deeply committed to nurturing the unique potential of every child by fostering academic excellence, creativity, and social-emotional growth. Our school is a place where the arts thrive, and we are thrilled to offer dynamic programs in Drama, Visual Arts, and STEM Design. These opportunities encourage our students to express themselves, think critically, and explore innovative solutions to real-world challenges. We believe that integrating the arts and STEM creates a well-rounded foundation that prepares our students for success in an ever-evolving world. Collaboration is at the heart of what makes Yates special. Together with our students, families, and community partners, we work to create a safe, inclusive, and vibrant learning environment where every child feels empowered to excel and contribute. We Love our Richard Yates Elementary family. We are excited to continue building a brighter future—together!
