A Message from the Principal

Welcome to a brand-new school year at Ludwig Van Beethoven Elementary! As I step into my second year as your principal, my heart is full of gratitude for the trust you place in us every day. Thank you for entrusting our team with your most cherished treasures, your child(ren). It is a profound privilege to guide, protect, and inspire them alongside you. Reflecting on the past year, I am so proud of what our school community achieved together. Our momentum was real, and the numbers reflected our shared efforts! We saw an increase in students successfully passing algebra, achieved nearly a 6% overall increase in yearly average attendance, and earned our highest teacher retention rate on record. Most importantly, our scholars shared that they feel deeply connected, supported, and valued by their teachers. These wins belong to all of us, proving how much our children thrive when stability, care, and high expectations come together. This year, we are taking that foundation and reaching higher. Our team is hyper-focused on transforming the everyday student experience through learning that is both intellectually rigorous and genuinely joyful. We want our classrooms to be places where scholars are challenged to think critically, encouraged to take creative risks, and excited to walk through the doors each morning. Achieving this requires our whole community. I warmly invite you to walk shoulder-to-shoulder with us on this incredible learning journey. Whether by joining us at school events, partnering closely with your child’s teachers, or sharing your ideas for our school's future, we welcome you! Together, as one united Beethoven family, there is no limit to what our students can accomplish. Here’s to a joyful, transformational year ahead at Beethoven Elementary-A Culture of Care Lives Here! My best regards, Mrs. Mauricia Estes
