A Message from the Principal

A Message from the Principal

Edison Park Elementary strives to provide a superior education that fosters critical thinking and independent learning while preparing students for college and career. We provide our students with differentiated instruction while creating challenging learning experiences in a safe environment. Our focus on rigorous academics instills a sense of shared responsibilities, accountability, and social development. The school visioin is "EPE is a positive, purposeful, productive community for all," and, over the last few years, we have done a lot of work around our three school priorities: 1) K - 8 aligned curriculum, 2) student support (both academically and behaviorally), and 3) grading practices. You will notice that our WOLF expectations (Winning Attitude, Own your choices, Leadership, Focus on respect) encompass all of our priorities as a school, which is, ultimately, doing what is best for our students. The students are purposely located in the center of our priorities as a reminder that they are the reason we do what we do.

State of the School

The State of the School address provides a robust community forum to reflect on the past year's progress, discuss future priorities, and align school goals with the District's five-year strategic plan, "Success 2029: Together We Rise."

  • Date: Tuesday, November 18, 2025
  • Time: 6 pm - 7 pm
  • Room: MPR
  • Additional Details: We will be discussing our three main CIWP priorities: 1) aligned curriculum, 2) grading practices, and 3) student support (both academically and behaviorally). We have been doing great work around student-centered learning for the past 3-4 years and we will discuss what is to come next. We will also review the beginning stage of EPE's Graduate Profile. We look forward to seeing you there.
