A Message from the Principal

A Message from the Principal

Welcome to King Academy. Our school is defined by a commitment to fostering a community where every student can thrive academically and emotionally. Our core values are at the foundation of all that we do: Communication, Respect, Justice, Integrity, Trust, and Excellence. We embody these values by providing high-quality educational opportunities at every grade level, ensuring our students are prepared to compete successfully with their peers across the district, city, and world. This commitment means providing them with the academic rigor and essential social-emotional support they need to be successful at anything they may encounter during their time here and after. We educate with an eye on equity and social justice. At King Academy, we ensure that every student knows they have a voice—a voice they must use to advocate not only for themselves but also for their peers, school, and community. We foster partnerships with community organizations to ensure our students use their knowledge, voice, and talent to improve the Englewood community. All members of the King Academy community believe in the strength of collaboration and teamwork. Here at King #itsaWEthing
