A Message from the Principal

A Message from the Principal

At KIPP Ascend, we partner with families to provide a rigorous, joyful education that prepares students for college, careers, and lives of their own choosing. Our research-based literacy curriculum gives kindergartners a strong foundation from day one, while our STEAM programs and accelerated math pathways challenge middle school students to think critically and reach higher as they grow. Beyond the classroom, students explore their passions through extended day programming, including athletics and our nationally recognized Model United Nations program. As a neighborhood school, we are deeply rooted in Englewood. Our local partnerships connect families to the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive. Our commitment to families doesn't end at 8th grade. Through our KIPP Forward program, our commitment to students and families extends well beyond 8th grade. Every student is paired with a KIPP Forward Advisor, who supports students and families through the next phases of their educational journey—navigating high school admissions, college applications, and career paths aligned with each student's unique goals and ambitions.
