A Message from the Principal

Welcome to Lawndale Community Academy where every student is seen, valued, and empowered to thrive. Located in the heart of the North Lawndale community on Chicago’s West Side, our school embraces the rich history and resilient spirit of this neighborhood while charting a bold path forward. At Lawndale Community Academy, our vision is clear: to create a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment where all scholars are equipped to become college, career, and community-ready global thinkers. We offer strong Tier 1 instruction grounded in academic excellence, and we recognize that learning begins with relationships, trust, and empowerment. Our community partners collaborate with us to deliver enrichment, intentional support, and opportunities for all students and families. If you’re looking for a school where your child will be challenged, cared for, and prepared for tomorrow where high expectations meet unwavering belief then Lawndale is the place for you. I am honored to lead this community of educators, staff, families, and students. Together, we will continue to grow, support each other, and make our Panther pride shine. With pride and purpose,
