At Sherman School of Excellence, we strive to provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence through personalized and social-emotional learning. We value collaboration with parents and community partners to create a strong sense of community and family engagement by offering programs and opportunities to all stakeholders before, during and after-school hours. Our personalized learning model puts students at the center of their education in which they thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This student-centered approach cultivates a lifelong love of learning, builds essential skills like critical thinking and problem-solving, and empowers students to navigate the complexities of the real world. State of the School

The State of the School address provides a robust community forum to reflect on the past year's progress, discuss future priorities, and align school goals with the District's five-year strategic plan, "Success 2029: Together We Rise."

  • Time: 12 pm - 1 pm
  • Room: Multi-purpose
  • Additional Details: Sherman's State of the School will be held during parent teacher conferences in the multipurpose room. Parents will be provided with passports that entails that they sit for the State of the School presentation. The presentation will be done at the beginning of each hour. The information will be shared on our website after Parent-Teacher Conferences.
