TLC Professional Development

Role-specific professional development for Teachers Lead Chicago (TLC) Teacher Leaders is a collaborative effort led by the Office of Teaching & Learning, the New Teacher Induction and Mentoring Team, and the Distributed and Supportive Leadership Team.

This job-embedded support helps TLC Teacher Leaders grow in two key areas:

Focused on coaching, communication, strategic planning, and fostering collaborative and effective teams.

Through this learning, TLC Teacher Leaders are equipped to support teachers with effective instructional practices, use data to close achievement gaps, and create a supportive culture for continuous improvement. The ultimate goal is to enhance teaching and student learning outcomes.
