Grades 9 - 12

All high school students will have the option to learn in-person and/or remotely. A typical remote day may look like:

Remote Days

  • student sitting at table with laptop and books

A virtual school day that feels normal

To the extent possible, high school students will follow a traditional high school schedule. They will attend classes, be given time to transition between classes, and their day will be filled with a balance of live instruction, group activities, and self-directed learning. All CPS students will receive several hours of live instruction every day.

  • student sitting at table with food

Lunch and breaks throughout the day

High school students will have independent time for lunch as well as short breaks between class periods. These breaks will mirror the time students normally take to change classes during a school day.

  • student sitting at couch reading

    Academic electives and enrichment

Students will also have access to full course offerings - including electives - in addition to real-time instruction with their teacher and classmates.
