We hope that you are enjoying these final days of summer and getting as excited as we are about the coming school year!
On Thursday, July 30, the Chicago Board of Education approved a budget for CPS for the new school year. As we shared with you last week, this budget counts on money that has not been received by CPS. We will need to be very thoughtful about how we implement this budget and we want to keep you updated on our progress.
We hope you will join us for an online webinar this Thursday, August 6 from 6 to 6:45 p.m. for an important update on our District’s budget situation. El jueves, 30 de julio, la Junta de Educación de Chicago aprobó un presupuesto para CPS para el nuevo año escolar. Como les informamos la semana pasada, este presupuesto depende de dinero que CPS no ha recibido. Necesitamos ser muy considerados sobre cómo implementamos este presupuesto, y queremos mantenerles al tanto sobre el progreso que hemos hecho.
