Community Meet Up (Washington Park) - Chicago Communities Co-Creating Education (CCCE)
Click here to register for the CCCE Community Meet Up in Washington Park
In September 2023, CPS received a grant from the US Department of Education (USDE) to partner with the communities of Austin, Roseland, and Washington Park to create a community-centered educational plan. Over the past ten months, the Office of Portfolio Management (OPM) has gathered feedback through surveys, focus groups, and collaboration with a small group of dedicated community members—the Stakeholder Advisory Design Team (SADT), which is charged with establishing an educational mission and key priorities.
We are excited to invite you to a Community Meet Up to share progress on the educational plan and welcome broader community input.
What you can expect at the meeting:
- An overview of the project, purpose, and progress to date
- Presentation from the Stakeholder Advisory Design Team (SADT) about mission and priorities
- Small group discussions to gather your insights and strengthen the plan
- An open Q&A where you can ask questions and share feedback
Supports: Translation and American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be provided.
