Evening and Saturday Classes

CPS offers credit recovery courses in the evenings and on Saturdays at select high schools during the school year.

These classes are for high school students who need to recover credits for courses they previously failed (i.e. received an 'F' on their transcript). Classes are offered to actively enrolled CPS students. Students must speak with their Counselor to be enrolled in the program.

Taught by highly qualified and certified teachers, evening and Saturday classes are offered in English, Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, World Languages, Fine Arts, and other academic subjects.

Two sessions are offered each year: fall and spring. Classes meet on Monday/Wednesday, Tuesday/Thursday, or Saturday. Evening classes are 2.5 hours in length, and Saturday classes are 6 hours.

Credit Recovery Course Offerings

Course offerings vary by site and time. The course offerings listing identifies courses offered by school, school addresses, and when each school will host registration.
