Parent Collaborative meetings bring together parents and community members from Title 1 schools within each network to achieve these goals:
- Provide parents with updated and relevant district data to better inform them of the status of their individual schools
- Connect parents with both citywide and CPS departmental resources to help foster their leadership skills and their engagement in the learning process
- Deliver both need-based and research-based workshops to ensure we are empowering and servicing schools
- Help parents create partnerships with educators, students, and other parents to increase the social, cultural, and human capital in their schools
Our meetings are held virtually. To find out which network is associated with your child’s school, use the Network Locator. If your network is not listed, contact the Office of Family and Community Engagement.
Check the CPS calendar for exact meeting dates.
