The FAB is a community of dedicated families of students with disabilities with a shared interest to support students by enhancing special education support and services.
The FAB provides a space for monthly collaboration focused on students with disabilities in CPS. Uniting families, CPS staff, community agencies, and ISBE, FAB helps to influence positive outcomes for all students with disabilities and their families.
During the monthly 90-minute meetings, FAB provides regular feedback from families and the community, allowing the OSD to make data-driven decisions that align with the lived experiences of those directly impacted by their services. All meetings are open to the general public with recordings available to view.
Recordings of the 2024-2025 OSD FAB meetings can be viewed here.
