Submitting service requests and work orders for your facility is simple and easy with our online request portal. Principals, administrators and network chiefs are invited to log into the portal to submit service requests.

Services
The following services are managed by the Facilities Operations discipline under the Department of Facilities.

Building Management
Providing leadership, accountability, responsibility, oversight, planning, delivery and management of all facilities management, building engineering, custodial services, and operations.

Building Engineering Repair & Preventative Maintenance
Install, maintain and repair various systems within a structure. This typically includes the building's lighting, heating and cooling systems, ventilation, structural integrity and other building critical infrastructure systems.

Custodial Services
Providing all supplies, materials and equipment necessary to deliver the custodial services, including, but not limited to, any and all: (i) janitorial or custodial supplies and materials (i.e. floor finishes, cleaners, detergents, sanitizers, hand soaps, wipes, paper towels, toilet paper, plastic liners for containers, plastic bags for trash removal; and (ii) all equipment to an APPA Level 2 of clean.

Groundskeeping
Provide grounds keeping products and services in five offerings:
- Landscape services
- Snow removal services
- Ice melt purchase and delivery
- Special property services
- Green infrastructure
Landscape services will require spring services, routine maintenance services, and fall services. Snow removal services will require snow removal, ice melt and relocation when necessary.

Pest Management
Provide integrated pest management services in an effective and environmentally friendly approach that relies on a combination of common sense practice, and comprehensive information on the life cycle of pests and their interactions with the environment.

Pool Chemicals & Maintenance
Providing chemicals, pumps and assembly parts, filters and pool equipment and epoxy for all district pools for licensed building engineers to apply.

Conveyance Maintenance & Repair
Providing maintenance, repair and testing of the elevators, escalators and lifts.

Backflow Annual Testing & Maintenance
Providing annual testing of the complete backflow prevention system assemblies.

Emergency Generator Preventative Maintenance & Repair
Provide maintenance, repair and testing of the complete emergency/standby generator systems including but not limited to emergency/standby generators, automatic transfer switches and related accessories.

Fire Alarm System PM & Repair
Provide maintenance, repair and annual testing of the complete fire alarm systems including, but not limited to, fire alarm annunciator panels, smoke sensors, heat sensors, flow switches, tamper switches, duct sensors, emergency two-way communication, emergency one-way communication, visual/audible fire system devices, pull stations, emergency lighting, fire alarm panels, fire doors, including roll down and sliding type, and related accessories.

Fire Suppression & Exhaust System PM & Repair
Providing maintenance, repair and testing of the complete Type 1 fire suppression (“Ansul”) systems and Type 2 exhaust/range hood systems including, but not limited to, expellant gas container(s), agent container(s), releasing devices, piping, hose assemblies, nozzle alarms, detection systems, alarms, releasing devices, manual stations, fire suppression systems, piping, sprinkler heads, sprinkler pipe, electrical controls, control panels, valves, fire pumps, fan hinge kit installation and grease containment systems at all Board facilities. Also, providing cleaning with hot water high pressure washing and scraping of the complete hood and vent Systems including, but not limited to, hoods, filters, fans, fan grease traps, access pans, fire suppression sensors (fusible links), grease cups, pipes, nozzles, and duct work.

Fire Suppression System Maintenance & Repair
Provide maintenance, repair and testing of the complete fire suppression systems, including but not limited to, piping, sprinkler heads, sprinkler pipe, electrical controls, control panels, valves, fire pumps, air compressors, tanks, standpipes, fire hoses, fire hydrants, fire department connections, and related accessories for wet pipe sprinkler designs, dry pipe sprinkler designs, pre-action and deluge sprinkler designs.

Fire Extinguisher PM & Repair
Provide maintenance, repair and testing of all fire extinguishers and related accessories.

Water Treatment Products & Services
Maintain a high quality chemical treatment and service program to meet our goals to sustain peak operating efficiencies and optimum corrosion prevention in the heating and cooling systems safely using environmentally friendly products.

Various Trades Operations & Maintenance Work
Various professional trade contractors that provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Services over $25,000. Awarded contractors that provide O&M Services that are classified in approximately 40 trade categories, such as Carpentry, Electrical, Floor Repair, HVAC, Painting, Plumbing and Roofing.
